Hustle and Bustle - UPSOP has moved to Wing Lok St! The smell of dried seafood; amazingly good local food stores; undulating terrain and traditional neighborhood of Sheung Wan will all become our design inspiration!

D traveled to several flooded villages South and North to Bangkok, Thailand. He will be presenting his design solutions in Sep 2016 at ACA17 in Hong Kong. He is one of the 3 receipients for the Arcasia Travel Fellowship 2016, organized by Architects Regional Council.

Shenzhen is the most favorable city for startups in China.
How would architecture respond to the trend of shareable economy? UPSOP presented at OCT-Loft 华侨城创意文化园 about architecture and urbanism in the airbnb / uber era, together with government officials from the planning bureau, urban designers, city planners, architects and educators.
UPSOP presented at "Encounter Next Design" on sustainability, organized by LYCS 零壹城市 and PINWU 品物流形 at From余杭融設計圖書館, together with architects, product designers and artists.
We shared our vision on sustainable architecture and interior design, which is beyond the operation and maintenance of a traditional building cycle.

It was exciting to hear from Mr KS Wong, Secretary of Environment of HK Gov, his long term plan about reduction in construction waste, food waste, electricity consumption in buildings and pollutant emission of cruises in Hong Kong at the AIAHK Annual Dinner 2015 yesterday night.
It was amazing to see how Architects endeavor to shape the built environment into a sustainable city to live in. We were also happy to share with him our bottom up approach and philosophy in prolonging the life-cycle of construction materials. Much to do!
